Drug addiction and alcohol addiction ruin the holidays for everyone involved. Sure, we got great gifts, but the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. All afternoon and evening we would hear the little barbs coming from my Mother and Father. Even at my Grandmother’s house, but they curtailed it somewhat there.
