Drinking and driving is one of the most harmful acts that you could possibly do, not only to yourself but to others as well.
I was in college and it was the end of final exams. My friend and I decided to celebrate writing our final exam. He had been living on campus so we decided to go up and have some drinks. Well some drinks led to a lot and soon after came a call from another friend mentioning that there was a party nearby. We both agreed to go and I said that I would drive. That was my mistake, I should never have decided to drive. It was winter and the roads were icy, so I drove about 100 meters from the school parking lot and smashed right into a light-pole. Luckily we were wearing our seatbelts which saved us from catapoulting from the car onto the street. The car was completely ruined but much worse could have came from this situation. I could have killed my friend and I and anyone else that would have came across me on the road.
Drinking and driving is stupid and nothing good comes from it. Only misery and heartache. Think before you act. Don’t drink and drive.
