For some reason: ‘She hated her family’

Sabrina started using drugs at a very young age, and prior to her drug use she was also a run away.  Her baby sister, who was very young at the time, was left not knowing where her sister was, or when she was coming home.  “I didn’t know where she was,” comments Sam in the full interview, “where she went, all I knew was the cops were coming over and they needed an updated picture.”  With the shocking news her sister was on drugs, Sam was left in the dark, wondering what will happen next.

Sabrina looking back.

Sabrina was living homeless in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.  Her family was making every attempt to help her; yet, Sabrina kept pushing them away.  Talking about her mom, Sabrina said in the interview:  “She tried to help a lot, I could tell that she was very sad.  She wanted me to come home – she was blaming herself, it wasn’t her fault.”  The full-length video interview shows the progress of how an addiction can effect siblings and parents, and how through the proper help; an addict can break the chains of addiction.  It was an absolute pleasure for the Narconon drug rehab program to be able to interview these two ladies.  The Narconon film crew was able to see a real life perspective, and get some true insight.

Sabrina was also able to show our film crew through some of the spots in Montreal she spent her time homeless and on drugs.  Accompanied by her sister, the ladies took a look back at Sabrina’s time as a drug user.  It was difficult for Sabrina to face this; yet, she stood strong, and was able to give details about what it was like.  Look for the full-length video to be released in the coming days.
