We would like to take this time to wish you, our wonderful readers, a merry Christmas. This has been a year of many changes, both in the world and here at Narconon. We have seen many come through our doors thanks to the articles and stories shared on this site and we believe, we know, that each and every one who made the decision to get help, has given themselves and their family the best Christmas gift of all.
There have been times when someone read an article and filled out the form to get help. When the counselor would get on the phone, the person would say “Can you really help me?” You would be surprised at how many of those wonderful and happy faces at our live graduation event on December 18th asked that very question and as you can see, the answer was a definite yes.
We want to wish those of you with loved ones dealing with an addiction a Merry Christmas as well. You have the hardest job of all as it is painful to watch someone you love battle such an enemy. Your courage and strength, whether through getting firm, an intervention or whatever the case may be, is a lot of the reason why your loved one is getting or has received the help he or she has.
Merry Christmas, whether you are here in Canada, in the United State,s or wherever life has placed you. Whatever your beliefs in regard to the tradition of Christmas, most all can agree that it is a time of hope and a season to look forward to a new year and a new beginning in many ways. No matter what continent, what country, drug and alcohol addiction are things which more families than not are experienced with and Narconon has had the privilege of helping many of those families by being the treatment program selected for their loved ones.
Each Christmas is a new and joyous event here at Narconon as we see the success stories of more and more people achieved every year. Many of us have had problems ourselves with an addiction or a loved one being addicted; some of the greatest counselors are borne from personal experience. As we end one year and begin another, we do so with the wish that this is one of the happiest Christmases ever for your family.
