My name is Kate and I’m a student at a rehab facility. I’m 21 and am proud to say that I am a lesbian who is happy and making good changes in my life.
I want everyone to know that I understand that it’s hard to be gay even in these times however that is no excuse to hide or feel sorry for ourselves. I have just recently escaped the darkness that I’m sure many of you know, hate, and feel like you can not escape… this is not true, it is only your way of thinking that is off. You may think that it’s the rest of the world that is the problem but once again that is not the case. I’m telling you this because I have experienced relief in my life as a result of looking within and finding the person that I was all along. This is all you need to do, I promise you once you realize that, confidence is yours to embrace and that positive attention is more fulfilling than the negative, you can be a newly successful, outgoing part of society.
