Narconon International is a drug prevention and treatment program that helps people who fall victim to drug addiction to safely recover in an environment that helps them thoroughly, teaching them the tools needed to learn and avoid the temptations for a relapse, get completely rid of drugs in their system and then, when people are clean, instead of just saying “thank you, come again”, gives the ultimate customer service in setting up aftercare so a person is always taken care of by putting him together with the right support group.
But how did Narconon come to be? It began in 1966 by a man named William Benitez, who was in prison in Arizona and addicted to drugs. From that time, Narconon has grown to over 125 centers throughout the world. Narconon Trois-Rivieres was established in 1998, 32 years after the first Narconon center was founded. Hundreds of thousands of people are helped through Narconon every year, going on to live stable and productive lives. Here at Narconon Trois-Rivieres, we have helped over 750 drug addicts get clean and begin the same stable and productive journey for their lives.

Marc Bernard, Executive Director of Narconon Trois-Rivieres, is holding a long list of the 700+ people that successfully overcame drug addiction by doing the Narconon drug rehab program at Narconon Trois-Rivieres.
In celebration of the 44th anniversary of Narconon, we want to let you know that the same principles, the same ethics, the same foundation exists today in the Narconon family. No one is deemed unworthy, no one is incapable of help, no one is cast aside.
Every program that aids a person in getting drug free is worthy of praise when a job is well done. Here at Narconon, we praise the person who gets clean. He or she is treated as a student because it is Narconon’s belief that education is one of the greatest keys to knowledge. The student is taught what lies behind the addiction and the tools to avoid a relapse. He or she is then celebrated in a graduation ceremony. Everyone knows that when you come out of a battle a winner, you have cause for celebration. Overcoming drug addiction and beating it like the enemy it is is a great cause for celebration, too, wouldn’t you say?
Narconon’s method of treatment in a drug-free environment, is just as successful if not more so than other programs out there. Hundreds of thousands of graduates walking around, living productive lives, being ethical people, paying it forward, raising wonderful well adjusted children and winning out every day over an enemy that once had them beaten, is proof of that. The Narconon family’s desire for its 44th anniversary is to continue to achieve just that.
