The Narconon Live Graduation was held this past Friday and I have never seen a more appropriate song for an event as the one sang by the lovely and talented Lea Morgane. As she sang What a Wonderful World.
A person who is addicted to drugs finds himself in a virtual pit of doom and a revolving cycle that seems hopeless to ever break free of. But it CAN be done. A Narconon live graduation event celebrates that fact.

Sometimes a song is just a song but the one sang by the talented Miss Morgane could not have been more appropriate for just such an occasion as the Narconon live graduation event.
This writer has heard What a Wonderful World sang many times over the past several decades. The Louis Armstrong hit was prevalent during my mother’s young adulthood and as I listen to the song it always brings a feeling of love and hope into me. While there were several beautiful songs performed Friday, this one identified what the Narconon live graduation event was all about; by getting help, getting clean, getting the tools needed to stay clean after treatment, the person is indeed looking at the world through new eyes and finding out that it is indeed a wonderful world.
As a young man stands on stage and looks out toward his parents and son, he states the most truthful and fitting words that can be said at this time of year at just such an event to his son: “this is the best present we can give each other”. It is a story similar to many others as they share a moment out of their lives and what getting treatment means for them. Maybe that little boy wrote a letter to Santa that his father found. Maybe some life-changing monumental event occurred. Whatever it was, the reality and truth of it is that the entire family received a gift when the young man got help. As the new year approaches, it is indeed a wonderful world for this family and many others who have the ultimate gift at Christmas time and New Year’s resolution to follow through on.
Sometimes a song is just a song but the one sang by the talented Miss Morgane could not have been more appropriate for just such an occasion as the Narconon live graduation event. As they walked up on stage, the students received recognition, they received course completion certificates, they shared winning moments, they thanked family and they thanked counselors. By getting treatment and responding positively to it, they also received something else. They received a chance to see for themselves again, that it truly is a wonderful world when you are clean of drugs and alcohol.
