I've been having problems with addiction on pills for most of my life and I only went for an 12 step rehab program because my husband was going to leave me if I didn't. The perspective of suddenly being alone hurt more than my pride of not admitting I had a problem. So the family support is crucial in these situations.
  • Thanks for the info, hopefully the public will become more aware of the rising problem of prescription drug abuse and the need for drug intervention for those suffering with addiction.
