Crystal Meth is one of the fastest growing and dangerous drug addictions in the United States and Globally.

Addiction to crystal meth happens very quickly because of the incredibly euphoric affect it has the first time it is used. That first time using the drug is always the “best” but people keep going back to it hoping to achieve that same affect. As a result, they use more and more but never get that same feeling again.

Crystal meth claims more and more lives every year and for every person getting treatment there are many more who are not.

Crystal meth causes irreversible physical and psychological damage.

Since it is such a powerful drug and affects the central nervous system, major medical and mental disorders can arise after long-term use. Crystal meth is also one of the most difficult drugs to beat.

The earlier someone can get into rehab for crystal meth, the better.

Anyone who gets rehab for crystal meth is going to be better off.

The drug is a white substance, which can be smoked, injected, swallowed, or snorted (through the nose). It is most commonly smoked. Crystal meth is also referred to as ice, crystal, glass, tweak and Tina. The first “hit” of the drug gives one an immense rush and a feeling of great euphoria. The effects of the drug last from 10-30 minutes depending on how it was administered.

Someone who is becoming, or is addicted to crystal meth will usually have a drug kit that they keep with them and leave near their bed at night so they can access it first thing when they wake. It will contain the drug and all of the equipment needed for their form of ingesting it.  The person may exhibit tremors or even convulsions. They will have severe mood swings of euphoria and depression. Some may begin to experience paranoia. Many develop sores on their bodies, particularly their faces and they pick at them consistently.

Trapped in a crystal meth nightmare, a crystal meth addict finds the Narconon rehab center and puts an end to his dreadful addiction. The Narconon program gave him tools to live drug-free.
