 The average life span of a hard-core crystal meth user is between five to seven years, yet some users have been known to go longer. Crystal meth is a psychostimulant, meaning it directly affects the brain and causes immediate alertness and awareness in a person. Unfortunately it also causes severe side effects, combined with numerous health problems. Crystal Meth can be described as one of the most physically destructive drugs to be created. Within a short matter of time, this drug will have destroyed a persons physical features, as was made famous with the Faces of Meth.  Methamphetamine was first developed in Japan in the year 1894, and was not turned into the crystal like substance you see today, until 1919 in Japan. The German military distributed methamphetime amongst its troups during World War II; this was one of the earliest uses. |
