Drug addiction and alcohol addiction ruin the holidays for everyone involved. Sure, we got great gifts, but the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. All afternoon and evening we would hear the little barbs coming from my Mother and Father. Even at my Grandmother’s house, but they curtailed it somewhat there. A great problem might be the addicts refusal to enter a drug treatment center regardless of the fact that the center may only employ natural methods and be of the most modern and advanced variety. Of course, the addict may refuse to enter a drug rehabilitation center and finally it is his or her god given right to kill him or herself through the consumption of alcohol and/or drugs, but believe it or not death may not be the worst consequence of refusing to enter a drug rehab center.
