Long-term Drug and Alcohol treatment

Written on February 5th, 2010 by Nick HayesView Comments

It is important that every patient is treated as unique, and the treatment should be unique, too. In addiction treatment there is no single treatment available for all addicted persons. Hence, there is no such thing as a standard drug or alcohol rehab program. There are counsellors who take care of the patient; they understand his or her condition, and then decide what kind of treatment they should undergo. This method is being introduced in all rehabilitation centers. There is a wide range of addiction treatments around, which may be either traditional or non traditional.

Written on January 8th, 2010 by Nick HayesView Comments

These days, many people are becoming addicted to alcohol and drugs, which makes life difficult for the addicts and the people around them. These addictions not only affect addicts’ personal lives, but their professional lives as well. This makes it difficult for family members to manage their monthly expenses and it results in many other financial tribulations. The best way to break the cycle of addiction is to seek long-term alcohol and drug treatment from a rehabilitation center.
