Narconon Success Story – A.J. 2009

Written on February 2nd, 2010 by Kevin DesrosiersView Comments

Well, I have been putting this off for a while now. Not because I don’t want to tell the world the story of my success, but because there are no words to do the journey justice. I have as of today, been sober 1 year. I am a 22-year-old single mother. I left home when I was 14, because already I couldn’t face my mother in the condition I was in. I was already using PCP and Cocaine, soon after I was selling drugs. I used cocaine heavy for years and smoked crack. Because of this, and the lack of sleep I started using prescription drugs to sleep. I needed to be high night and day. I was going through withdrawals in my sleep, waking me in 2-hour intervals.

Written on December 26th, 2009 by Nick HayesView Comments

Finding out that someone we love is suffering with an addiction to crack can be devastating. We would love to be able to demand that the person stop using crack and that they would heed our words and stop on the spot, but unfortunately that isn’t realistic. Crack addiction, or an addiction of any type is complex and most often requires help from professionals.
