It is very important to drug-educate youngsters and adults alike so as to dissuade them from using it. There are a lot of myths regarding drugs floating around and you do not have to believe all of them. A lot of people tell you that drugs are bad. You know that already. But you need to further question why it is so bad? The answer is it is harmful because it is addictive. It makes you dependent on them. You just can’t do without it. How does this happen?

There is only one surefire way not fall to into a pattern of addiction with drugs and alcohol: just say no. Sure, you want to have fun, you want to let loose with your friends and hang out, but some things come with a price and this is how many addictions are started. So how do you deal with a situation where friends or peer pressure are encouraging you to do something that is not right and can lead to an addiction? Here are some pointers.
