Much of the answer is going to depend on how the young man is related to you. Is he a Son? Perhaps he is just a friend or someone you would like to help. In order to be able to help any addict, they have to be approachable. Normally, this is when they are straight. The long and short of it is that unless he goes into rehab, he probably will not stop the addiction. Getting from where he is, to rehab, is the issue.
